With Harris County leading the nation with one of the longest ballots this election cycle, the amount of information out there on the issues and the candidates can be overwhelming.
The League of Women Voters of Houston (LWVH) has been distributing its Harris County Voter Guide, offering nonpartisan information on who and what you’ll be deciding on once you arrive at your polling location. To help with any last-minute questions, LWVH will be holding a phone bank in the KPRC 2 News lobby to help provide answers on Election Day, Nov. 3
“Whether you want to know where your nearest voting location is, or who’s on the ballot, our helpful volunteers will be there to answer all you questions and we can get you in touch with folks if you have heavy-hitting questions that we may not be able to answer,” said Alexa Murarescu, LWVH Volunteer and Outreach Manager.
LWVH volunteers will be set up in the KPRC 2 lobby on Nov. 3 from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., answering questions in English and Spanish. Organizers are reminding voters of the importance of being prepared in the days leading up to Election Day.

“We always urge our voters to do their homework before they head to their polling location. Also, phones aren’t allowed at the polling site so you want to make sure you’re writing down your selections so you’re prepared to vote all the way down the ballot once you get there,” Murarescu said.
