A fraud fugitive was caught trying to depart from a Florida airport.
FBI Agents recently prevented fraud fugitive Wesler Jean Baptiste from departing Fort Lauderdale International Airport on a flight to Haiti.
After receiving a time sensitive notification, FBI Airport Liaison Agents coordinated with Customs and Border Protection, leading to Baptiste’s seamless arrest at the South Florida airport according to law enforcement.
“This swift action reflects our continued commitment to rebuilding the public’s trust through accountability and rapid response,” FBI Miami posted.
